Working with Emory undergraduates and alumni interested in healthcare professions, Pre-Health Advising supports students until they are ready to apply to healthcare professional schools. Throughout the year we offer:
Connect students to resources and opportunities on campus and in the community.
Prepare students to determine readiness to apply by having them reflect on their experiences and competencies.
Support students as they apply to their chosen professional program and provide post-application resources.
To demonstrate highest standards of service to students and alumni in academic planning, introducing holistic development, and encouraging self-reflection regarding competencies needed for healthcare professionals. Our objective is to serve both internal and external constituents, and to enhance collaborations with faculty, alumni, healthcare professional schools, and healthcare systems locally and nationally.
To provide programs and advising with the highest standards of service for Emory students and alumni within four distinct learning objectives: Connect, Explore, Prepare, and Apply. We provide a supportive advising environment within this structure for students and alumni to thrive academically, and to recognize how their academic and extracurricular experiences translate to the healthcare professions.
