Dean’s Notes

Hello everyone,

Well, it’s the end of the year and many of you are preparing for finals. It’s been a great year. We have had banner numbers of students apply for the Sophomore Year Holistic Review and Composite Letter process. We have seen literally hundreds of you in our office and we even sponsored (in collaboration with the Career Center and the Center for Science Education) a semester long seminar on health professions fields like Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy, Medical Doctor and many others.

Hello everyone!

A reminder that the Health Innovation Symposium is happening tomorrow. It may still be possible to register at the HIP site if you have not already. You must be registered to attend. We have posted the schedule for the planned events in our website so please take a look. This symposium serves as place were various professionals will share their perspectives on the future of medicine including very practical matters like insurance. This should be interesting to you since it will preview some of the upcoming issues you will face as a physician or other health care professional.
