Demystifying the Interview
Demystifying the Interview is a presentation hosted by the PHMO's Executive Director, Dr. Don Batisky, where he discusses the methods of success when interviewing for health professional school. This event boasts one of the best opportunities for applicants to gain insight into the interview process and get tips for success. The Mock Multiple Mini Interviews program is an event that will allow Emory undergraduate students the opportunity to experience a mock set of Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs) not unlike the ones they will encounter when interviewing for many health professional schools. Students will receive personalized feedback and advice from interviewers. All interested students are encouraged to RSVP, but first preference will be given to students who are applying in the current application cycle (for 2018 matriculation). We will confirm attendance the week before the event. Limited space available; RSVP required.

Patient X: Exploring Health Careers Through an Integrative Case Study
Patient X is a panel event where various healthcare professionals present a case study detailing their multiple and diverse interactions with a patient. RSVP required.

Health Professions Hop
The Health Professions Hop is a formal reception where Emory undergraduate students have the opportunity to mingle with current healthcare professionals. This is an opportunity for the Emory undergraduates to get advice from healthcare practitioners and gain insight into various fields of healthcare. Limited Space; RSVP required.

Spring 2018 PHMO Events

Emory Allied Health Programs (DPT, PA, and Genetic Counseling), Rollins School of Public Health, and Emory School of Nursing Panel
Admission representatives from several of Emory's healthcare professional programs will present information about their respective programs and discuss the application process. Audience members will have an opportunity to ask questions and get advice directly from the programs.
Medical School Admission Panel
Medical School Admission Panel will feature representatives from the Emory University School of Medicine, as well as representatives from the Medical College of Georgia. This program is a panel where Emory undergraduate students have the opportunity to meet and network with admissions team members from both schools.
School Selection Panel
The School Selection Panel is a panel hosted by PHMO Peer Mentors where students will gain peer to peer advice about how to determine which medical, dental, or other healthcare professional schools to apply for admission.
