Snap, Crackle, POP into the PHMO
Pop into the PHMO to enjoy some snacks and snap a free headshot to use in your portfolio for applications, LinkedIn, and other professional pursuits. This will also be an opportunity to speak with a PHMO advisor about any questions you have related to your pre-health goals. Professional attire is suggested for the photo.

Health Professional Programs Panel
Admission representatives from several of Emory's healthcare professional programs, as well as the Mercer College of Pharmacy, will present information about their respective programs and discuss the application process. Audience members will have an opportunity to ask questions and get advice directly from the programs. RSVP required.
Panelists will include representatives from the Emory Physician Assistant Program, Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, Emory Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, Rollins School of Public Health, Emory Genetic Counseling Training Program, and the Mercer College of Pharmacy.

Hosted by Emory School of Medicine professors and palliative care specialists, Dr. Joanne Kuntz and Dr. Lynn O’Neill, Death Café aims to normalize discussion about death with the hope that, by facing the concept of death, we will be inspired to live our lives more fully. At a Death Cafe people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea, and discuss death. A Death Café is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objective, or theme. All pre-health students are invited to take advantage of this opportunity for personal and professional development. A program hosted by PHMO Peer Mentors where students will gain peer-to-peer advice about how to determine which medical, dental, or other healthcare professional schools to apply for admission. RSVP required.
