Peer Mentor Walk-In Hours

Peer Mentor Walk-In Advising Hours are offered throughout the week during the Fall and Spring semesters, no appointment necessary. Peer Mentors can answer questions about course registration, finding opportunitites on campus, exploring health careers, and more. Please check our Facebook page for walk-in hour cancellations.

Scheduled Advisor Appointments (30 minutes)

Schedule a General PreHealth Advising appointment to explore pre-health options, ask academic questions,  discuss your application timeline, and other general questions related to pre-health.  1:1 Follow-Up appointments are reserved for students who have recently completed their Group Mandatory Check-Up.

Appointments for Alumni, Oxford students, and students studying abroad can be held via Skype or phone. Students should schedule with their assigned advisor, based on the first letter of the student's last name.

Group Mandatory Check-Up

The Group Mandatory Check-Up is an advising program for Sophomore students. Students will meet with their peers to discuss holistic development, complete a self-assessment, and be guided through activities that will help them identify their progress towards their professional goals. The Group Mandatory Check-Up and 1:1 Follow-Up are required in order to obtain a Composite Letter from the PHMO (pre-medical, dental, optometry, and podiatry students only).
